- * Telnet to rs.internic.net (198.41.0.5), and use WAIS to
- translate the name into an IP number. WAIS also provides
- other info about internet sites, like phone numbers and
- "snail (postal) mail" addresses for administrators, etc.
- * WHOIS at the same address is also useful.
